Tipping yourself
I went to lunch today with some co-workers to this bar and grill down the street. I never been there, but heard the food was great. Well, it was. I had this Blackend Grilled Chicken platter and a soda.
Well, all was fine until it was time to pay. The check was broken for each person to pay. My total came to $9.74. I handed the waitress a $20. My change returned to me was $10 bucks. What the !@#$? where is my 26 cent at?
Now, while I don't think 26 cents to be a pocket breaker, she obviously assumed that since it was only 26 cents, it was negligible. And noticed that she did this with everyone at the table!
She seemed new to whole serving industry, considering she gave me my change in two 5 dollar bills...as opposed to a 5 and five 1's, making it easier to leave a tip out of the change you received. Well, my tipping was so easy, I left it in the cash register for you! Thanks for the service.
