I hate web sites that force you to use that prefix to get there. There is no reason I can accept as to why some web hosts require those three little W's. I hate typing them. Nowadays it is redundant to use them.
First off, I know I'm on the "World Wide Web". Secondly, hopefully the server I'm connecting to knows it is open to the "World Wide Web". Third, since the "dot-com" days are over, there arn't too many company names of "www.what-ever.com" so the name integrity deal is not there. So why am I still forced to type those redundant letters!?!?!
My only guess would be lazy or ignorant admins.
