3 sick kids and a limping dog

Well, this has been a fun week so far. Three out of three children caught what is going around. That adds up to:

1 early pick up from school
1 change of bed sheets, due to stomach virus
- and -
1 infant that clung to his mother

On top of this fun, I go to let the dog out this morning, and he's only using 3 legs. His rear hind leg is bothering him. I gently examined him and he didn't flinch, so I don't think anything is broken. Makes me wonder if his hip is starting to give. Hopefully it will clear up in a few days.

Update - Well, the limping dog is walking fine now. Hopefull the 2 kids will heal up just as quick.

2 ramblings so far

1. Sometimes our dogs do the 3 legged thing, and it's usually just because they slept on it funny, if you gently pull his foot back down and rub it a little, they will start to walk on it again. Hope the kids get well just as quick!

2. I'll keep that in mind. This isn't the first time the dog has been hurt. He's sprained his ankles before, but I've just never seen him walk like that before.

Also, it seems that be may have been stepped on while laying down, so there was likely a bit of real pain there.
