Nadia's murder solved

It's bittersweet to hear that the murder of Nadia Whitmore has been solved.

Wendell D. Adams, of Overland, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Nadia Whitmore, of St. Louis County.

I can only hope this can begin to ease this loss for her family and friends.

EDIT - Seems the comment below describing the jail house beating is true. Two Corrections Officer Suspended For Alleged Assault

1. What's up Danne

It's good to hear that there was finally some closure to this case. I was starting to think that this person was going to get away with this horrific crime. I really had to pray about this and trust that God was going to get the glory somehow. Thanks for keeping us up to date on all of this. I check this site frequently for info. Also congrats on the baby boy, I had a baby girl on Dec. 24 and she is doing well. Poor girl's got my temper already. Man somebody's in trouble.
Talk to u soon

2. Hey Chris, glad you were able to stay informed from this site. I was given a heads up about the arrest from someone else that found their way here. Good to know these posting haven't been in vain.

3. Hey Danne it's good to see that God is still in the prayer answering buisness. I have been praying about Nadias case every since the day I was horrified to see my classmates face on the news in such a terrible heartless way. Chris hooked me up with your site. I hope that all is well with you and your family. Hope to see you soon at the reunion and hear back from you sooner.

God Bless

4. The man who murdered Nadia was beaten in the county jail by to officers. For those of you who don't know - Nadia was once a correction officer at that same county jail. I know God preaches forgivness, but I can't help but feel that the beating was not nearly enough. I say a prayer for these two officers that no permanent damage to their reputation occurs - and I want to say Thank you to them.

5. Hey Susan, nice to have you stop by. Hate that so many classmates found themselves here because of Nadia. Who knows, maybe at the reunion, we can all remember her in a happier light. And all is fine on our home front. Hope you and yours are doing well too.

For the anonymous post, I wouldn't expect anything less if he was sent to the same facility. While I can't agree with the beating happening, I hope the legal system shows the same "attitude" when it comes to his sentencing.
