So my wife has jury duty...
And I'm at home playing "Mr. Mom". She's a homemaker (that's not a term you hear a lot of anymore) and I'm the workaholic. There have been times in the past where the roles were sort of reversed, but they have always gravitated back to this typical position.
I love being home with the kids. It's nice to see how they interact with each other, but this is hard work...especially when the 5 month old develops some chest congestion with a mild ear infection.
Between keeping the house straightened, holding the little one, preparing meals...my goodness. I have renewed my appreciation for my wife's day.
