The mosquitoes, they attack!
This has been one of the worse years of mosquitoe biting I have ever experienced. Funny thing is, I haven't been bitten that much. Over all, it's only been maybe 5 times, but these bites are swelling up larger and lasting long that in years past.
At the beginning of spring, I had a bite on my leg that spread to an inch wide and took 3 weeks to leave. I wasn't scratching it (although I painfully wanted to), yet it stayed a deep red until is totally disappeared. I'm convinced that the spraying they are doing to control the mosquitoe population is actually making them more potent.
Man, I'm glad they're not as bad as those "Panama Canal" mosquitoes, but it seems like we're not that far off.
