My neck, my back...my neck and my back!

You know those "hand posture" warnings that come with new computers or keyboards...yeah, the ones that usually get tossed because they never apply to you? Remember them now? Do ya?!? PAY ATTENTION TO THEM! All those warnings about not slouching my mother warned me about are coming to light.

Last night I couldn't turn my head any direction without a burning pain. The only thing I could do was take an extra strength something or other and curl up on my love seat (all 6'2 of me) and pass out. Felt better this morning, only a slight bit of stiffness.

It wasn't until I came to work today that I found the source of my aches. I slouch badly in my seat. I mean, nearly to the point of totally reclining back. Arms stretched out and shoulders hunched into my neck. HORRIBLE posture. And to make it worse, I sit like that for hours.

To make it worse, last week I came home to play some Need for Speed: Most Wanted on a 360...nuff said.

My body has asked back from what I stole from it. What was that rule again...wrists raised, fingers on the home row, hands at 10 and 2?

1 rambling so far

1. your preaching to the choir buddy, i've somehow made the letter Q with my spine and every now and then my sholders and neck just blow out and it's magical heating pad time for me.

Just one of the reasons I can't use normal phones, I need to have a headset at all times otherwise i'm tempting fate.

Such is the price for being a desk jocky I guess....
