Unintentional accent slip
I don't know if this is funny or sad. Today I found myself working with techs from our El Paso, TX office. This is sort of uncommon. No real reason why, just don't end up working with them too often. The weird thing, though, was every time I spoke to them, I started slipping into a "Spanish" accent.
It was fairly embarassing because I hoped that they didn't hear it. It wasn't like I was mocking them...at least intentionally. Wonder if I'd do that around an Australian?
